The Squid Game Guards, also known as Pink Soldiers, are masked figures central to the dystopian South Korean survival drama, Squid Game. Their identities are deliberately obscured, representing their function as tools of the game's organizers rather than individual characters.

Recruited into service after presumably facing extreme debt or hardship, similar to the players, the Guards are ranked by symbols on their masks: circles represent workers, triangles represent soldiers carrying firearms, and squares represent managers who oversee the operations.

Their primary duty is to enforce the rules of the game, ruthlessly eliminating any players who disobey or fail the challenges. Their movements are strictly controlled, and communication is minimal, highlighting their subservient and dehumanized status within the hierarchical structure of the game.

Despite their anonymity, the Guards' presence is chilling, symbolizing the oppressive power and moral decay inherent in the Squid Game's system. They are a visual representation of the exploitation of the vulnerable for the entertainment of the wealthy elite.
